Ready4H2 attends #HIL Hydrogen Scotland 2025

At the #HIL Hydrogen Scotland 2025 conference in sunny Glasgow, leaders from the Scottish government shared their support for the tremendous potential for hydrogen production, use and export through the Hydrogen Action Plan and the National Planning Hub. Industry leaders shared updates on projects in Scotland, including the SGN LTS Futures repurposed gas pipeline project, the BP Aberdeen H2 Energy project (that has reached FID), the Gascade Aquaductus offshore pipeline and the NZTC Hydrogen Backbone Link project.

Ready4H2 director Barbara Jinks presented the project’s recent research results that show the indisputable role of distribution grids as an essential link in the hydrogen supply chain from production to consumption, and its relevance to Scotland’s hydrogen developments.
