After a successful year as Assistant to the Director at the Ready4H2 project we have said goodbye to Aloma Gómez Reus who is taking the next step in her professional journey by joining Hydrogen Europe, one of the project's partners. We will miss her and wish her all the best in her exciting new chapter. Aloma had to leave the project after 12 months, as per the Belgian CIP Internship programme. In her words: "Working at Ready4H2 has been a great experience and the best introduction I could wish for to the professional world of the energy transition. Working alongside Barbara and the Steering Committee team has been a great pleasure. I'm very grateful for the opportunities, support, and trust I have received throughout this experience and will always look back at this time with great appreciation."
We welcome a new assistant, Edoardo Arcidiacono. We look forward to the expertise and enthusiasm he will bring to the project. Edoardo has a wonderfully varied background in international energy and industry policy, ministerial briefings, is on the Milan's Municipality 5 City Council and is the author of Linkiesta's Europea, a newsletter on EU affairs. Edoardo states that what drew him to Ready4H2 was his belief that “The energy transition is not only about meeting climate targets but also about building a more resilient and autonomous Europe while ensuring that this transformation ultimately benefits people. I’m particularly interested in the role hydrogen can play in this transition and in how distribution system operators, with their infrastructure, expertise and connection to local communities, can help turn Europe’s energy ambitions into practical solutions for people and businesses.”
The Ready4H2 project will certainly give Edoardo an insight into this and in turn we know he will be a great asset to our team.
